Animal Services handles Adoptions and Receiving of unwanted/stray animals in Maury County.  Hours of operation are Tues.-Fri. 11:00 a.m. -5:00 p.m., Sat. 10:00 a.m. -3:30 p.m.

The adoption fee for canines is $75.00 plus the $25.00 deposit if unaltered, felines are $65.00 plus the $25.00 deposit if unaltered. The adoption fees include:     

               Canine = Da2LPPV, heartworm check (dogs over six months), and a kennel cough vaccination;

                       Felines = FVRCP, FELV/FIV test.

                       spay or neuter, rabies vaccination, and de-worming, on all dogs and cats.

The State requires that all animals adopted from the shelter or animal control facilities be spayed or neutered within a certain period of time depending on the age of the animal. A $25.00 deposit is required by the State of Tennessee and is refunded when you provide proof that your new friend was spayed or neutered prior to the deadline given.
